Here’s the Moment You’ve All Been Waiting For!!!!
Thank you all so much for helping make the Christmas in Kemah Market happen! I’m really excited! This market has record breaking responses for us at the Kemah Community Center on both Facebook and Eventbrite! We also have many vendors outside to attract even more street traffic! This market also follows the popular Deck the Halls event that has been happening in Kemah for the last 34 years! It’s going to be a great market and I look forward to see all of you there!
I want to also let you know (if you haven’t seen my posts in the Facebook merchant group) that I will be making our layout public for the first time to help you advertise where you will be and to help reduce customers becoming overwhelmed. You are all strong individually and together you will appear very powerful. As I’ve told many before, we’re a very dynamic retail popup market! Now that we’re back to our usual vendor attendance (pre-Harvey), we really have to prepare and watch ourselves from the time of arrival through tear-down. If you don’t know what I mean, please refer back to policy. It is there to help you be successful!
Also, this is not just a Christmas Market. It’s all inclusive to anyone from any culture and religion. I will be incorporating them into our last push advertising and music selection as well.
Below is the layout and assignments. I WILL have those field cones out. Please do what you can to setup yourselves by referring to this email, the policy or each other. I will be around to help, but there’s a lot going on during setup and I may not get to address you like you may want. Thank you for understanding!

If you have any questions, problems or concerns, please get me any time during the market to help you. I am here for you and want you to have a successful and positive market day. Like I have said in our vendor group, I enjoy having visitors from other markets! So, if you see them, please let me know as soon as possible.
Also, if for any reason you need to make contact with me during a market where you cannot find me or it’s best handled discretely, please call or send me a text, or a Facebook message. Onto Market Day Fun!
Food and Drinks:
We will not be having a food truck join us for this market. So, please feel free to bring lunch and plenty of drinks. The kitchen will be open for you to eat inside. Please do not eat at your booths or in front of customers. If you need a break, let me know and I will come relieve you. I don’t suggest ordering food from T Bone Tom’s or anywhere nearby. The crowds will be large with participants, volunteers, staff and spectators.
Be sure to bring everything you need to fully setup your booth spaces, including your equipment.
Setup/Take Down Times:
Setup starts at 9:00 am and will end promptly at 11:00 am. Take down will begin no sooner than3:00 pm and end at 4:00 pm. Anyone arriving after 10:00 am may be considered late and not allowed to setup. Anyone packing up and leaving before 3 pm will not be asked to return for future markets. If there is an emergency, please contact me BEFORE you do anything.
Arrival & Parking:
When you arrive, you can use either parking lot on the property to load and unload. When you are finished, please park away from the building. The City of Kemah does provide street parking where you see the decorative brick along the road. The large black top lot is not open for us to park in, so please don’t park there. Also, please leave the back lot on the Texaco side for Cargo Trailer parking.
Your assignments are on the attached photo. I will have spaces marked with numbered field cones. When you find your space, stay to the right of it and move the marker out of your way. I will come by to pick them up before we open to the public.
