Thank you everyone for coming out yesterday! Though the rain got the best of us (despite the usual 20-30% scattered thunderstorm chance), we still had an amazing day! We appreciate all of our devoted customers and merchants that made our Pre-Tax Free Weekend Market possible.
In case you were out of town or held back by the weather, the list of all the merchants website links are below. Many will continue sales, have additional sales and offer qualifying items during the Texas Sales Tax Holiday (Link) next weekend.
Note About Google’s Texas Tax Holiday Dates:
We all noticed Google’s date on the internet and many merchants were confronted by some customers about the dates being from August 4th to August 6th. However, this date is wrong. The Texas Sales Holiday is from August 11th through August 13th for the 2017/2018 school year. The correct information can be found on the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (who merchants pay their collected sales taxes to) website at the Texas Sales Tax Holiday link above.
We are all sorry that some of you were misinformed by Google Search, but we do appreciate you continuing your shopping with us.
Thank you and enjoy your week!
Kristen, Market Coordinator/Owner – The Gypsy Rose Market
We’re celebrating Back to School with a Pre-Tax Free Weekend to send your kids and yourself back to school in style with everything you need at our August 6th market! Many merchants will have Back to School Sales on all your clothing, accessories and beauty must haves for you and the kids! We’ll have some new merchants attending for you, too!
So, come out to treat yourself with some fashionable sales and get the kiddos ready for a stylish new school year!
